These sheets are great. They do get better with subsequent washes. The sheets are much softer after the third and fourth wash. I bought one set and two extra pillow cases. I cannot fault the sheets in any way and therefore provided a five star rating. They do not have any pills or loose threads after multiple washes. Although, in my opinion these sheets are not as soft as bamboo sheets.
