I use this to protect my bed and other bedding from my dog (who sheds like crazy). This is very "oversized" and covers all my other bedding even with my adjustable bed - actually two twin XL beds side-by-side, the same size as a king, but with each side able to move independently. You need a really big sheet to stay in place with 2 beds that adjust separately and these sheets do great. I change these as a top sheet daily since my dog sheds so much. They are holding up fine in the wash.This company used to sell a plain white sheet, a tad smaller but a bit thicker and 300 thread count instead of this 250. I like those as well. Sometimes you can still find those on Amazon. This current set is a little nicer looking with the subtle tone-on-tone stripes and great for being a little bigger. The other version was nice for being a tad thicker, especially with dogs, and was nicely "oversized" as well. If you need a big flat sheet, I can recommend either. Honestly, for the price, these sheets are amazing.For garment sewers (or quilters): this is a tremendous amount of textile for the price. These would work great as quilt backing or for making toiles/muslins (practice garments) before cutting into your pricey fabric.
