I was a little apprehensive about ordering sheets online as being able to not feel the hand of these before purchasing made me apprehensive. I have one nights sleep on them and after washing them I have to say I am quite pleased. The thread count can be misleading, but these actually do have a pretty tight weave to them and are of quality of 100% cotton sheets. They are like typical cotton out of the box a bit on the starchy like stiffness of a fresh pressed laundered shirt, but after washing them the hand of them was more than soft and cozy. Yeah I just said soft and cozy. If you are on the fence about these I would say get them if you are looking for a thicker 100% cotton sheet that is going to keep you cozy.First of all I want to say very comfortable to sleep on. On the con side the sheets were not long enough width wise to tuck in, which is alright for me because I never tuck the sides in also very wrinkly even after washing.These sheets are not quite as advertised. They are a little small for out mattress but were a good price so i kept them. They are very thick which is good for quality but it makes them very loud when moving in bed.Had standard pillow cases, my queen Temperpedic pillows sticks out. The Queen sheets are fine.Thank YouSaul StevensVery heavy quality, but not soft at all. Tried washing a few times but texture/feel did not improve.They are so thick, it's like sleeping between two sheets of cardboard! I tried washing them a few times hoping they would soften, but they are still stiff as a board. I have been using 100% cotton sheets for many many many years, and have never ever seen (or felt) anything this thick & stiff before. I will never be able to use these.Unfortunately it's been over a month, so not much I can do, other than kiss $100 goodbye.I bought these and the stone color set. They don't fit my new Serta i-Series mattress with the cushion top. Also, it feels like sleeping on a canvas bag. These are not soft - at all. Unless you have a thinner mattress and like to sleep on canvas, I can't recommend these.they were a gift so I cannot comment further
