This is the second of the same brand I’ve bought. I loved the other one until it wore out. Nice colors, size and weight.I wish I had known that this one would come with warning labels about the color transferring off of it. I washed it before I put it on the duvet and so far it seems ok. I wish the seller would either fix the dye or warn buyers before they click buy.This is a beautiful duvet cover, but it arrived damaged (sort of). There is a mended tear in it on one side. It appears that the tear happened in the cloth before it was even dyed. I noticed it when I ran my hand across the cloth and felt where it was repaired. Only then could I see it. (In other words, it is nearly invisible, which is why I think the flaw was present before the cloth was dyed.) I'm not sending it back, because the mended section is nearly invisible, but I'm a little disappointed that it's there, hence the 3 stars.Very pretty, nice duvet cover. Thick cotton, dye did not run in cold wash, dye smell is mild and wears off soon. Nice to have something a little more unique, not feeling like a mass-produced, cheap item, even though it may be ..? No ties on corners and one button fell off, but button holes are extra nice so that buttoned buttons to not show on outside. Pillowcases are for standard (small) bed pillow. Quite satisfied, would recommend.Great color and design - love it - did have lots of loose threads but washed and dried it - hung it outside for a while and let it hang inside over night. Put it on this morning and it is exactly what I have been looking for....quality is not the best - there was a bleach mark on the blue side but I colored it in with magic marker. It fits my comforter just right so no need at this point to sew strings in and so forth. The cotton appears very durable but soft and I am a happy camper. Now looking to finish the room off with a bed skirt - any suggestions?PROS- Both sides, blue or teal, are lovely. Bought one for Christmas 2012. So happy with it bought again 2013 to save for the future. The fit is true for our queen comforter. The duvet cover does not bleed, fade, or rub colors onto sheets. If you put it on straight from the dryer, no ironing is required. When we bought both duvet covers the shams were not available. We are ordering the shame separately right away.CONS- Two small issues that are fairly common with duvet covers.1. Advise sewing the buttons tighter.2. Duvet has no corner ties inside to secure with the duvet corners and prevent comforter crawling. I quickly hand sewed ties in each corner.Again, this is a beautiful double sided cover with lots of personality.It arrived in a timely fashion and I love the colors, designs, etc. BUT...very coarse material and terrible chemical smell that lingers. I like the duvet well enough to keep thowing it in with every dark load of laundry and it's slowly getting softer and less stinky. I should give it 2 stars, but I'm pretty confident I'm going to wind up loving it.This duvet is definitely large enough for a queen size comforter. The colors are nice and didnt run in the wash.It did have a weird smell at first, but with two washes it came out.It is very heavy and warm. The fabric isn't super soft, but it's a decent duvet for the price.My only gripe is that there were many little end threads that needed trimming. I'm a little worried that when I wash it I may get more. But it's very pretty and reversible. Buttons are nice and big and button holes are sewn nicely.
